I received this strange item without packaging, instructions, or any explanation as to why I needed it.

I received this mysterious object as a gift. No packaging, no instructions, not even a hint of what it was. The color – pink – the shape… well, rather ambiguous.

The material is hard foam, but it bends slightly under the fingers. At first, I thought it was a joke. Or contemporary art. Or something from a curiosity shop.

I turned it over in my hands, trying to find some meaning, some use, at least a clue. The options were quite varied—from a fruit bowl to a futuristic armrest. But nothing appealed to me.

Perplexed, I decided to post a photo online with the following caption: “I was given this. Does anyone know what it is and what it’s for?”

The answer came a few hours later. It turns out to be ingeniously simple: it’s a flexible back massage corset. You just place it on the floor or a sofa, lie down on it, and the contours begin to gently massage your back, releasing tension.

It’s now my favorite accessory after a day at work. Who would have thought such a strange object could become such a useful gift?

Was it really so difficult to explain all this to me when I was given it, or at least not to throw away the instructions?

Have you ever seen anything like this?
