COVID-19 vaccines commonly cause mild, temporary side effects such as arm pain, fatigue, headache, muscle aches, chills, and low fever. These usually begin within a day and resolve within a few days.
Rare but serious reactions include myocarditis, pericarditis, and severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis). Most side effects can be managed with rest, fluids, a cool compress, and paracetamol if needed. Medical advice should be sought if symptoms worsen or persist.
